AI SME Finance Assistant
Ask a payroll, VAT, or invoicing question the way you would ask a colleague. It answers with your country's rules and opens the calculator already filled in.
Private by default · answers with figures in your local currency · opens the right tool filled in
How this helps
Bring a payroll, VAT, invoice, registration, or cash-flow question and land on the calculator or document tool that answers it, with the high-stakes parts flagged. It does not stand in for a tax adviser.
Built for where you are
Nigeria PAYE runs the PITA 2025 and NTA 2026 band regimes side by side, with pension and NHF options — and VAT prefills at 7.5% under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025.
Kenya payroll carries KRA's five bands, SHIF at 2.75% (minimum KES 300), the 1.5% housing levy, and NSSF on the KES 108,000 ceiling that took effect in February 2026.
Ghana runs GRA's seven bands (0–35%) with SSNIT Tier I+II at 5.5% and an optional Tier III deduction, on 2025 rates.
South Africa applies SARS 2025/26 bands (18–45%) with rebates and medical tax credits, plus UIF and SDL at 1% each.
Every one of the 54 countries has a PAYE calculator with named assumptions and local currency — ask in plain language and the assistant opens yours.
The tools it opens
Every route ends in a real calculator or document tool — the assistant fills in what it learned, and you stay in control of the numbers.
Straight answers about limits
What it will not do
- Outputs are planning estimates, not tax, accounting, legal, or filing advice.
- Rates and statutory rules change with finance acts — verify with the revenue authority before you file or pay.
Privacy, plainly
Payroll and invoice details are sensitive. The calculators and invoice builder run in your browser, and salaries, client names, invoice contents, and tax numbers are not included in the usage data AfroTools collects.
Questions people actually ask
Can AfroTools AI file my taxes or payroll?
No. It prepares the figures and the review checklist; filing stays with you, your accountant, or the revenue authority's own portal. That separation is deliberate.
Are the payroll numbers on this page real?
Yes — the worked example is computed in your browser when the page loads, by the same engine the PAYE calculator uses, on the assumptions listed under it. Open the calculator and change the assumptions, and you will see the numbers move.
Do sponsors or partners change the numbers?
Never. Sponsored placements are labeled and cannot alter a calculation, an eligibility result, or a source label anywhere on AfroTools.
