How is reading time calculated?
Reading time uses 200 words per minute (average adult). Speaking time uses 130 words per minute (average presentation pace). Both update in real-time.
What readability scores are shown?
Flesch Reading Ease scores from 0–100 (higher = easier to read). 60–70 is standard for most audiences. Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level shows the US school grade needed to understand the text. Grade 8 means most adults will read it comfortably.
Is my text stored or sent to a server?
No. All analysis happens 100% in your browser using JavaScript. Your text is never sent to any server or stored anywhere. When you close the tab, your text is gone.
How does keyword density work?
Keyword density shows the most frequent 1-word, 2-word, and 3-word phrases as a percentage of total words. Toggle "Exclude stop words" to remove common words (the, and, is, etc.) for more meaningful SEO analysis.
