Plan NYSC cash flow without guessing who will pay

Enter the federal, state and PPA amounts you can confirm, then define how many months each applies. AfroTools totals the plan; it does not promise payment dates, arrears or eligibility.

Your assumptions

Build the service-period ledger

Amounts are monthly unless marked one-time. Zero is valid when a stream does not apply.

Expected income
Essential spending
Before calculating
  • Use confirmed amounts, not social posts.
  • Match each amount to the months it applies.
  • Keep unpaid arrears outside cash already received.

Decision checks

Separate entitlement, promise and cash received

Federal record

Confirm the current federal amount and the months shown in your own NYSC payment record. This page does not inspect payroll or bank status.

State support

Use a dated state-government or NYSC state-office announcement. Check role, posting and effective-date conditions.

PPA support

Use the amount in your employer communication. Separate salary, transport, meals or accommodation support if their periods differ.

Cash-flow buffer

The buffer estimate divides a positive remainder by your entered monthly essentials. It is a planning ratio, not an investment or savings promise.

FAQ

NYSC allowance budget questions

Why is the federal figure editable?

The federal source cited above says ₦77,000 took effect from March 2025, but policy and individual payment records can change. Your verified current amount is the correct calculator input.

Why are there no state presets?

State support can depend on posting, role, employer and effective date. A generic state dropdown can silently turn an old report into a false entitlement claim.

Should unpaid arrears be entered?

Only include them when you deliberately want an expected-income scenario. Do not treat expected arrears as cash already available.

Does this determine eligibility or payment timing?

No. It performs arithmetic only and cannot inspect NYSC, state, PPA, payroll or bank records.
