Ghana National Service allowance questions
Why is there no default allowance?
The official NSA service provides personal allowance status and payment history, while public figures and payment periods can change. Your current official record is the safer input.
Does a positive difference prove arrears?
No. It only compares the rate and due-month count you entered with the amount received you entered.
Are hardship or end-of-service benefits included?
No. Add a benefit as confirmed one-time support only when you have a dated written source that applies to your placement.
Why does the page warn about payment timing?
An official Presidency statement from 12 February 2025 documented an allowance-arrears reconciliation and payroll headcount. That history is one reason a calculator should not promise when an individual payment will arrive.
