The official brief asks for a strong one-sentence hook, repeatable format mechanics, clear narrative tension, distinctive talent and the potential to adapt across cultures. It identifies South Africa, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Poland and France as territories where a scalable concept could travel.
Applicants need a creative treatment in PDF format, an estimated production budget and a proposed episode and season structure. The terms also require applicants to own or control the necessary intellectual-property rights and to make supporting Google Drive links accessible to the selection team.
Entries close at 23:59 SAST on October 12, 2026. Shortlisted producers must be available to pitch in person at FAME Week Africa in Cape Town from October 28 to 30, and applicants are responsible for travel, accommodation and related costs.
