Jiwe IO's first funded campaign gives Ma3 Simulator a Kenya creator milestone

Jiwe IO has recorded its first live crowdfunding success, and the milestone is a useful signal for African game creators looking for direct community support.

In a May 3, 2026 post, Jiwe Studio said Ma3 Simulator closed its campaign at 100% funded after raising KES 25,000 on Jiwe IO. The campaign was built around a concrete update for the Kenyan game project: two more buses and ten more routes. Jiwe said the result means the next update is fully paid for.

The funding mix matters. Jiwe reported KES 10,000 from local supporters and KES 15,000 from two international backers. It also said the final push included a KES 9,000 contribution from an international backer in the last two hours of the campaign.

For AfroStream, the story is not only the amount raised. It is the platform pattern. Jiwe said the campaign was supported by a lean three-person internal team using LinkedIn, WhatsApp groups, email subscribers and three TikTok streamers. That gives African creators a practical example of how platform tools, community coordination and live social channels can work together without requiring a large marketing budget.

Ma3 Simulator is a local game project, but the lesson is wider than games. A funded update shows one route for creators who already have an audience and need working capital for the next release, route, episode, build or creative milestone. Jiwe's first success does not prove that crowdfunding solves creator income, but it does show a real campaign, a real funding target and a real result on an African creator platform.
