Dove South Africa has opened nominations for the Dove Creator Collective, a South African creator academy aimed at emerging skincare and lifestyle creators. The official campaign page says entries run from 4 May to 30 May 2026, with selected creators to be announced on 18 June 2026 through Instagram and TikTok.
The programme is focused on South African citizens or permanent residents who are over 18, based in Johannesburg, Cape Town or Durban, and active on Instagram or TikTok. The official terms list minimum follower ranges of 1,500 to 15,000 on Instagram and 1,000 to 15,000 on TikTok, positioning the campaign around nano and emerging creators rather than only large influencers.
Bizcommunity's 4 May 2026 report names Mpoomy Ledwaba, Lwandile Makhaza, Coachella Randy, Lebo Lion and Thickleeyonce as creator council voices tied to the selection process. The selected cohort is expected to receive content creation training, mentorship, personal brand development, masterclasses, curated products and access to selected Dove brand moments.
For AfroStream, the story matters because it shows a brand-funded South African creator pipeline with named cities, platform rules and clear entry mechanics. It also gives small creators a structured route into training and brand visibility without requiring a mega-follower audience.
