Comic Con Africa has opened its 2026 accreditation route for content creators who plan to cover the Johannesburg festival on social platforms. The official application page sets the deadline at August 28, 2026.
The content-creator form is separate from the editorial press form. Comic Con Africa says the creator route is for influencers or creators who post only on social platforms without a website or another channel outside social media. Applicants are asked to describe their platform impact with figures such as engagement rate, click-through rate and interaction.
Submitting the form does not guarantee accreditation. The event's public-relations team reviews applications, each team member must apply separately, badge numbers are limited and approved badges cannot be transferred.
Accreditation includes four-day event access, the press lounge, a separate press gate, one press parking space, a press briefing invitation and a badge. It does not include transport, meals, paid add-on areas, queue skipping or guaranteed interviews.
Comic Con Africa runs from September 24 to 27, 2026 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre. Creators should read the criteria at the top of the official form before applying and use the event page for current access rules.
