Africa No Filter is accepting applications for its Voices for Climate Justice initiative from journalists, content creators, podcasters, vloggers, muralists and data visualizers in ten African countries.
The 12-month programme, delivered with Comic Relief, plans to support 15 to 20 storytellers with training, mentorship, content amplification and grants of up to US$4,000. The eligible countries are Mozambique, Uganda, Nigeria, Angola, Chad, the Republic of Congo, Tanzania, South Sudan, Malawi and Zambia.
Applicants must be at least 18, have an active platform, and propose work about climate justice, gender, debt and fossil fuels in Africa. Content creators and data visualizers need a combined audience of at least 5,000 across the social platforms listed by the organiser. The call is for individual applicants, and content may be submitted in English or French.
Applications close at 18:00 GMT on September 25, 2026. Applicants should review the official eligibility rules and prepare either a pitch deck of no more than five slides or a video of no more than 60 seconds before applying.
