The NINEA (Numéro d'Identification Nationale des Entreprises et Associations) is issued by the Direction Générale des Impôts et des Domaines (DGID) in Senegal. Registration is free and typically takes Instant (via APIX one-stop shop) to 3 days. Senegal offers online TIN registration through the DGID portal, making the process accessible from anywhere. The TIN is governed by the Code Général des Impôts du Sénégal and administered by the Ministère des Finances et du Budget.

All businesses operating in Senegal and individuals in formal employment are required to register for a NINEA. The NINEA is a 7-digit + 2-letter suffix (e.g., 0012345 2G2) identifier needed for tax filing, business bank accounts, government contracts, and customs clearance.
