What to copy from each pricing quote

Use terms for the same country, payment method, card origin and settlement currency. A percentage-plus-flat quote is calculated for one transaction, capped if you enter a cap, then multiplied by the monthly count.

  • Percentage fee: enter 1.5 for 1.5%, not 0.015.
  • Flat fee: enter the fixed charge added to each transaction.
  • Cap: enter a maximum processing fee per transaction, or zero when none applies.

Confirm eligibility, taxes, cross-border rules, settlement time, refunds, chargebacks, reserves, payout fees, payment-method support and negotiated pricing before selecting a gateway.

Does the lowest processing fee mean the best gateway?
Not necessarily. Reliability, payment-method coverage, settlement timing, dispute handling, fraud controls, reporting, integration effort and support may matter more than a small fee difference.
How does a fee cap work?
The calculator first adds the percentage fee and flat fee. If a positive cap is lower than that amount, it uses the cap as the per-transaction fee.
Are taxes and cross-border fees included?
Only if they are already included in the numbers you enter. Review the current provider quote and contract for tax, foreign-card, conversion, payout, refund, dispute, reserve and monthly charges.
