HIV care cost worksheet

Annualise costs you already know using their actual cadence: monthly, quarterly, annual, or once in the next 12 months. The app has no country price database and makes no claim about eligibility, coverage, care quality or clinical need.

Budgeting arithmetic only. Do not enter a medicine, regimen, clinic, patient or programme name. This tool gives no regimen, missed-dose, interruption or adherence advice. For medicine, care or access questions, contact the prescribing clinic or qualified health service. Never change care because of this budget.

User-entered costs

Short code or symbol only; no exchange rate.

Enter assistance only when the relevant provider or programme has confirmed it. The worksheet does not assess eligibility.

Budget summary

Enter known amounts and their cadence to see comparable 12-month totals.

Scope and source

All amounts and cadences are user-entered. Monthly entries are multiplied by 12, quarterly entries by 4, and annual or one-time entries by 1. “Monthly average” means annual total divided by 12; it is not a bill schedule or price forecast. Assistance is subtracted only after the same annualisation.

The app does not ask HIV status, medicine names, adherence, missed doses, viral load, clinic identity or personal identifiers. Confirm actual prices, services and assistance with the relevant clinic or programme.

Official context, reviewed 26 July 2026: WHO HIV and AIDS fact sheet (15 July 2025). The fact sheet provides health context; it is not a price source, and this worksheet does not interpret care.
