How total cost is modelled

For each quote, the calculator adds its flat fee, percentage transfer fee and estimated FX spread cost.

  • Transfer fee: flat charge plus amount multiplied by fee percentage.
  • FX cost: send amount multiplied by the entered spread.
  • Savings: Quote A total cost minus the lowest cost, multiplied by frequency.

Compare quotes captured at the same time for the same sender, recipient, corridor, amount and settlement method. Provider eligibility and regulatory documentation vary.

Is FX spread the same as an exchange rate?
No. The spread is the estimated percentage cost relative to a reference rate. For the most reliable comparison, also compare the exact recipient amount shown in each live quote.
Does the lowest cost mean the best option?
Not always. Settlement certainty, payment tracking, recipient deductions, refunds, compliance support and dispute handling can be material for business payments.
What documents will I need?
Requirements depend on the corridor, payment purpose, amount, institution and current law. Ask the provider or authorised bank for its current checklist and retain the commercial records supporting the payment.
