Frequently Asked Questions
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
What happens if I exceed my rate limit?
You will receive a 429 Too Many Requests response. We never charge overage fees. Simply retry after the reset window or upgrade your plan. See Rate Limits for details.
Do all plans include all API products?
Yes. Every plan includes access to AfroTax, AfroFX, AfroFuel, AfroRates, and AfroVAT. The difference between plans is the number of requests and additional features like historical data, webhooks, and batch requests.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
The Free plan serves as a permanent trial with 100 calls/day. You can test every API endpoint at no cost with no credit card required. Upgrade when you are ready to scale.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Enterprise plans also support invoice billing and bank transfers.
Can I get a refund?
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied, contact support within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing is available at a 20% discount. Contact sales or switch to annual billing from your dashboard.
Do test keys count against my quota?
No. Sandbox keys (afro_test_*) return sample data and do not count against your production quota. They share the Free plan rate limits independently.
